The Forgotten School of St. Mary

In 1852, Barbu Știrbei, the reigning prince of Wallachia, fervently invited the sisters of the Beatae Mariae Virginis Institute from Munich to establish a girls’ school in Bucharest, the capital of the country. Six years later, an elite institution was inaugurated: St. Mary’s Catholic School.

    1. “Plicusor” nu e la conducerea primariei de 30 de ani incoace ci pesedeneleul tau a fost mereu asa ca sa le spui “mersi” stapanilor tai care te platesc cu copeici sa arunci cu rahat in singurul primar general care misca ceva in orasul numit Micul Paris. Sictir!
